As most of you know, I’m always creating something. It’s just how my brain works—it refuses to sit still.

For a decade, I have poured my heart into writing children’s fiction, crafting worlds full of wonder (and the occasional talking animal). I have four middle-grade books (including a series) which will debut in the coming year. Stay tuned!
Right now, I’m also knee-deep in writing a Christmas comedy—which means my life is basically an endless loop of tinsel, punchlines, and peppermint mochas. And, as you’ve probably figured out, I’m forever working on my passion project: a self-help series I created called GET REAL ABOUT BOOKS. This series is my creative home base, my place to land when life gets bumpy—which, let’s be honest, is pretty much all of us, all the time.

In Get Real About Books, I’ve written everything from mini books on mental health, to divorce and custody workbooks, to therapy journals that gently coax your truth onto the page. There are even some big, bold books like Get Real About Thriving in 2025—which, to my delight, became a bestseller—and my upcoming release, GET REAL ABOUT GRIEF.

These books exist for the moments when life feels overwhelming, unfair, or just plain exhausting. They’re for anyone who needs a pick-me-up, a gentle shove forward, or simply permission to admit that they’re not okay—and that it’s perfectly okay not to be okay.

Because let’s get real: struggling with something in life isn’t the exception—it’s the rule. And I’m here to remind you that you’re not alone, you’re not broken, and there’s always hope (and often humor) waiting around the corner.
